VICTORIA WATER SLIDES R.I.P
For those of you that have seen the video you probably asked yourself where the hell those water slides are Jamie Collins is skating in his part. The answer is the old Victoria water slides, and unfortunately the now torn out Victoria waterslides as they have been ripped out. I’m finally going to post these shots of the adventure after a year of chillen. Enjoy!
This is the clean up evolved it was kind of hard to see on the footage how much water there actually was and this kind of puts it into a bigger perspective haha

The Instrumental camp got all the Team riders who were scattered all over the island together and made our annual trip to Tofino for the Canada Day contest. We arrived late wed night and had a few beers to relax after driving for well over 5 hours due to the fact that half the Island seemed to have the same idea. The next morning the crew slowly started drifting in to the skatepark to get ready for the long day ahead. After the beginner and intermediate category’s were filled with tons of great skating by all the lil homies, the crowd was ready to watch the advanced heat get under way. There was some serious hammers being thrown down all over the course while DJ Murge kept the competitors and crowd hyped up with a perfect mix of classic beats. The judges definitely had there work cut out for them that day. After so many bangers throughout the day the field was narrowed down to 5 skaters who each had a one minute run to try and win the grand prize of $500 of cold hard cash. Benson Wishart who skated well all day and was excited to have made the final heat had to withdraw himself from the finals due to a medical condition that had the crowd going crazy when he barfed on the course and then proceeded to throw a fs lipslide down the nine stair rail the boy is crazy! In the end Instrumental Skateboards own Brandan Soros edged out Conlin Killen and Luke Connor to take home the grand prize. After the contest it was time to get some beers and celebrate the good day with some great homies. Cant wait to get it poppin again next year HOLLA Tuff City!!!
